THE CENSUS IS COMING

Be sure to complete the U.S. Census when it arrives. Census 2020 letters will be mailed beginning March 12, 2020. The deadline for completing the form is April 30, 2020.

Let’s help ensure that every member of our households, regardless of citizenship status, gets counted this year. That includes infants, renters, family members and non-family members who live at your address. Encourage your friends, family and neighbors to do the same.

It’s important and here’s why (from CaliforniaCensus.org): Every 10 years, people ac ross the country and in California fill out the Census in order to have an accurate count of all people. The Census determines California’s federal funding for important community services that help support families and ensure a fair share of representation in California and Washington, D.C.
